Koe op Dak nursery rhymes aims to stimulate language development and dexterity in kids between the ages 0 to 6 in a playful way.
Create memories with your toddler by singing the nursery rhymes you know from your childhood and enjoy the gesture play, dances and silly movements that accompany many of the classics.

Koe op Dak History

Originally based on a Royal Academy of Art (KABK) project from years ago, Koe op Dak has gone through many iterations. The project consists of a slowly growing YouTube channel, Nursery Rhymes by Cow on Roof, a tiny Soundcloud channel an Instagram account, this website and an online shop Dip Dap Dop (currently only in Dutch). Pushing the bounds of what's possible with a website, creator Jet Hendrich experiments with built-in web API's such as the Web Animations API and Web Audio API and CSS Animations to create a joyful, interactive and fast online experience to delight your little one and stimulate exploring the world around them.
